The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients, communicating with various parties such as insurance adjusters, medical providers, and clients to resolve cases efficiently. Duties

  • Review new case intakes and conduct initial client meetings.
  • Manage a caseload of pre-litigation cases from start to finish.
  • Develop pre-litigation strategies to resolve cases quickly and effectively.
  • Assign and supervise tasks for legal assistants and paralegals in support of pre-litigation strategies.
  • Correspond with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties to facilitate case resolution.
  • Negotiate settlements and offers with insurance companies.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal pleadings for the transition to litigation, if needed.
  • Collaborate with mass tort attorneys to develop and implement pre-litigation strategies for mass tort cases.
  • Supervise support staff in the development of case strategies and resolution efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to further the goals of the firm.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed attorney in the State of Montana.
  • Prior experience in pre-litigation or personal injury law is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Client-focused with a dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Montana.

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
