Attorney with up to 3 years of experience

A law firm is seeking an Attorney with up to 3 years of experience to join their trial-focused practice. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in trial law and be prepared to contribute effectively in a dynamic litigation environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in case preparation, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing for depositions.
• Represent clients in court, hearings, and mediation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and case strategies.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Handle administrative tasks related to case management and client representation.

Requirements:

• Up to 3 years of experience in trial law or related legal practice.
• Strong foundational knowledge of litigation procedures and trial practice.
• Ability to manage case responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Maryland State Bar, or eligibility to sit for the Bar exam in Maryland.
