Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable attorney with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trust and estate planning. The attorney will assist with trust administration, and the decedent's estate matters, and provide legal advice on estate, gift, and property tax issues. Duties

  • Draft, review, and finalize legal documents related to estate planning, trusts, and taxes.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized estate plans.
  • Stay updated on changes in estate, gift, and property tax laws to ensure compliance.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and assist in complex estate planning matters.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in estate planning, trusts, and tax law.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A history of taking on significant responsibility in previous roles.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar.
