Business and Corporate Law Associate Attorney

A law firm in Binghamton, NY, is seeking a Business and Corporate Law Associate Attorney to provide legal advice and representation across a variety of legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business and corporate law, including experience in legal research, document drafting, and client representation.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients on various business and corporate law matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to address and resolve complex legal issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including negotiations, meetings, and closings.
• Communicate effectively with clients to offer legal guidance and ensure their needs are met.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement legal strategies.
• Attend and participate in client meetings, legal closings, and other required proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in New York and in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of business and corporate law.
• Proven ability to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and represent clients effectively.
