Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is looking to hire an experienced Antitrust Associate Attorney to join their growing Litigation and Trial Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in antitrust law, with expertise in litigation and/or merger control. This position is designed for individuals with 2 or more years of experience in the field, seeking to advance in their legal career within a dynamic and expanding practice.

Duties:

• Handle complex antitrust litigation cases and merger control matters.

• Provide strategic legal advice on antitrust law, including compliance, enforcement, and competition issues.

• Represent clients in pre-litigation negotiations, settlements, and court proceedings.

• Draft and review legal documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.

• Work closely with senior attorneys and assist with case preparation and strategy.

• Conduct legal research and stay updated on developments in antitrust law and regulatory changes.

• Collaborate with other departments and external parties on merger filings and investigations.

• Participate in client meetings and help maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with legal research, case preparation, and managing complex litigation.

• Familiarity with antitrust laws and regulations, including the Clayton Act and Sherman Act.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client matters with professionalism and discretion.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York (or eligible to waive in).

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

• Proficiency in using legal research databases and software.
