This is a full-time, in-person position where the successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody/support, spousal support, and related legal issues. Duties

  • Independently handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody/support, spousal support, and restraining orders
  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, financial disclosures, discovery responses, and settlement agreements
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions, witness examinations, and present oral arguments in court
  • Provide legal counsel to clients, ensuring clear and effective communication
  • Manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters when needed

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the California State Bar
  • 1 year of experience in family law (preferred)
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to present complex legal arguments clearly in oral and written formats
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
