A law firm located in Boston, MA is seeking a Corporate Associate (M&A) Attorney to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, private equity funds, and financial institutions. This role requires an individual who can provide efficient legal services both independently and collaboratively, integrate quickly into a national corporate practice, and deliver high-quality client service while committing to professional development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle a broad range of complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, private equity funds, and financial institutions.
  • Provide efficient legal service both independently and as part of a team.
  • Quickly integrate into the firm's national corporate practice.
  • Commit to delivering the highest quality of client service.
  • Demonstrate dedication to professional development in line with an on-track partnership position.
  • Communicate complex legal concepts effectively to clients and colleagues.
  • Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and balance competing responsibilities.
  • Maintain extreme attention to detail and stay organized in all tasks.
  • Collaborate and work effectively within team settings.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of M&A and private equity transactional experience.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent critical reasoning skills and ability to communicate complex legal concepts.
  • JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted or eligible for admission in New York or Massachusetts.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York or Massachusetts Bar, or eligibility for admission.
