Duties:

• Review and analyze insurance policies to determine coverage and potential issues
• Conduct legal research and draft clear, concise legal opinions
• Prepare and file discovery requests, responses, and motions
• Assist in third-party discovery processes
• Draft and review legal briefs for various litigation matters
• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented setting while managing cases independently
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required
• Manage a fast-paced caseload while adhering to deadlines and client needs

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in insurance coverage analysis and litigation
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Interpersonal skills for building client relationships and collaborating with team members

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar and related federal Bars required
• Additional memberships in Bars of other New England states and/or New York Bar are a plus
