The ideal candidate will bring a strong interest in maritime or aviation law, along with robust academic credentials and exceptional writing abilities.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on regulatory, administrative, and antitrust matters related to transportation and trade.
• Represent clients in industries including maritime and aviation in legal and regulatory proceedings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Collaborate on joint ventures, cooperative associations, and other business initiatives for clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments in transportation and trade law.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in regulatory, government, administrative law, or antitrust.
• A valid legal license in Maryland, D.C., or Virginia.
• Willingness to obtain admission to the D.C. Bar, if not already licensed.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with a state bar (Maryland, D.C., or Virginia required).
