Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its growing team in Dallas or Fort Worth, TX. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a caseload of personal injury cases, from initial filing through discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for injured clients, possess strong litigation skills, and be ready to take the next step in their legal career.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 100 active personal injury litigation cases, with support from a dedicated paralegal team.
  • Lead all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Negotiate settlements and communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Oversee case settlements and manage the disbursement of funds to clients, lienholders, and other parties.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and advance professional legal skills.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and staff as needed.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure timely updates throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a personal injury plaintiff attorney.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • Proven experience with personal injury litigation, including depositions, mediations, and trial work.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of personal injury law and litigation procedures.
  • Strong experience in depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
