Technical Transactions / Cyber Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Technical Transactions / Cyber Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in both intellectual property (IP) matters—such as technology licensing, trade secrets, trademarks, copyright protection, and brand management—and privacy compliance, including the development of privacy policies and data protection agreements. Candidates will also gain exposure to tech-centric corporate matters.

Duties

• Work on technology licensing and commercial transactions
• Handle trade secrets, trademarks, copyright protection, and marketing strategies
• Advise on privacy compliance and develop relevant policies
• Engage in general corporate matters, including initial formation and contract negotiation
• Collaborate effectively within a team

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials
• Exceptional analytical and writing abilities
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Active law license in good standing

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) preferred but not required

Skills
