Closing Attorney

A law firm in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Closing Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in real estate law, with a focus on handling real estate closings. The Closing Attorney will be responsible for managing the closing process and ensuring a smooth transaction for clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct real estate closings at the corporate office.
• Provide exceptional customer service during closing ceremonies with clients.
• Review and examine title searches, recorded documents, trusts, estates, and corporate documents related to closings.
• Ensure compliance with North Carolina real estate laws and regulations throughout the closing process.
• Handle any post-closing issues or follow-up tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the closing process.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
• 1+ years of experience practicing real estate law, with a strong understanding of the closing process.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple closings simultaneously.
• Familiarity with real estate closing software and tools is preferred.
