Duties:

  • Prepare and draft legal documents for filing with appropriate entities and correspondence.
  • Draft pleadings and motions, including judgments and orders.
  • Correspond with attorneys, court personnel, and clients regarding cases.
  • Interview witnesses and prepare them for court testimony.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all legal documents.
  • Appear in court promptly for all cases assigned.
  • Manage and handle all aspects of assigned cases, including trial preparation and representation.
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, mailing, and organizing case files.
  • Conduct legal research for specific case issues.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Oklahoma state bar license required.
  • Family law experience preferred but not required.
  • Senior Associate positions available for attorneys with five years or more of litigation experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and legal writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaborate with a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Oklahoma State Bar membership.

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal writing, document drafting, and pleadings.
  • Ability to conduct legal research and analyze case law.
  • Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle a full caseload and appear in court regularly.
  • Trial experience or the willingness to gain trial experience.
  • Time management and case organization skills.
