Job Overview:

A law firm based in Nashville, TN, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in Tennessee and hold a Juris Doctorate or higher. This role involves handling various litigation matters, providing strategic legal advice, and representing clients effectively in court.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda.
• Develop and implement legal strategies and case plans.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from case initiation to resolution.
• Provide advice and counsel to clients on legal issues and case status.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other staff members on case strategy and management.
• Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
• Attend and participate in client meetings, court hearings, and trials.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
• Juris Doctorate or higher degree from an accredited law school.
• Proven experience in handling complex litigation cases.
• Strong understanding of legal principles, procedures, and courtroom practices.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) or better from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
