Associate Attorney needed for Weston office

A law firm in Weston, FL, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with a strong background in corporate and real estate transactional and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will manage their own caseload with oversight from partners, draft legal documents, conduct legal research, and provide exceptional legal guidance and support to clients.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of corporate and real estate transactional and litigation matters with oversight from partners.
• Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and contracts.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide insightful analysis of case law.
• Represent clients in hearings, court conferences, and trials, demonstrating strong oral advocacy skills.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
• Prepare for and participate in trials, ensuring all aspects of the case are well-prepared.
• Utilize AI-assisted legal practice tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Deliver exceptional legal guidance and support, demonstrating a client-oriented approach.
• Review and prepare contracts with attention to detail.
• Manage, multitask, and prioritize assigned matters effectively.
• Produce and execute high-quality legal work product.
• Network to bring in new matters and contribute to the firm's business development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients effectively, displaying strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Florida Bar and in good standing.
• 3-5 years of litigation and transactional legal experience in Florida, with a focus on real estate, commercial, and civil law.
• Bench trial and/or courtroom experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish preferred).
