Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to advocate for survivors of traumatic and catastrophic events. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. Duties

• Draft and file legal complaints.

• Respond to written discovery requests.

• Conduct and defend depositions.

• Develop and execute case strategy.

• Handle a diverse caseload and build expertise in key practice areas.

• Represent plaintiffs in injury litigation and other complex legal matters.

• Participate in trials, hearings, and settlement negotiations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil litigation.

• Background in plaintiff representation preferred, but experience in liability litigation, including insurance defense, will be considered.

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a legal team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar license in good standing.

• Litigation & Trial Advocacy: Proficiency in trial preparation, motions practice, and case strategy.

• Legal Research & Writing: Ability to draft compelling pleadings and briefs.
