Job Overview: A well-established law firm in the Fort Worth area is actively seeking a Senior Immigration Attorney to join its growing team. This position presents a unique opportunity for an experienced immigration attorney to take on a leadership role and handle complex cases in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in immigration law, including both family-based and removal defense petitions, and will thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced legal setting.

Duties:

• Provide clear and strategic immigration guidance to clients, offering tailored solutions based on individual needs.
• Represent clients in immigration court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), handling cases for detained and non-detained individuals.
• Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload of immigration-related matters.
• Conduct client intakes at detention centers, providing both legal advice and support.
• Prepare and file a variety of immigration petitions, including family-based applications, removal defense, and humanitarian relief cases.
• Review immigration documentation and ensure that all necessary adjustments are made to enhance case outcomes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community organizations to stay updated on immigration law changes and their impacts.
• Lead consultations with potential clients, providing detailed legal strategies for their cases.
• Develop and implement trial preparation strategies, including preparing clients and witnesses for court and USCIS hearings.
• Draft and submit legal briefs to support a variety of immigration petitions and cases.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing legal analysis to identify potential benefits or challenges in their cases.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Immigration Law.
• Ability to manage a caseload and progress legal cases effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team of legal professionals.
• Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Experience in a wide range of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, detained and removal cases, and humanitarian relief.
• Familiarity with immigration case management software is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in good standing.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar (Texas).
