Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation cases, including hearings and depositions
  • Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings and motions
  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases and provide expert legal counsel
  • Lead your own team, including paralegals and support staff, to meet case deadlines
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws
  • Participate in client-focused activities such as drafting client newsletters and delivering educational presentations
  • Assist in firm growth by attracting new clients and fostering client relationships
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure client satisfaction and effective case management

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri
  • Preference for candidates with prior experience in workers’ compensation law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage a team
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:
