Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in New York City seeks a Litigation Support Attorney to contribute to business development, knowledge management, and strategic growth initiatives for its complex commercial litigation team. This position involves collaboration with partners, attorneys, and professional staff to support the practice's growth objectives and high standards of service.

Duties:

• Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and strategic plans for the complex commercial litigation team.
• Assist in preparing and managing content, including:
  • Brochures, attorney biographies, and web content.
  • Responses to requests for proposals and pitch materials.
• Monitor ongoing cases, track case statuses, and ensure matters are reported in league tables and publications.
• Conduct and synthesize market research to identify growth and profitability opportunities.
• Draft articles, legal updates, and e-communications to support client and industry engagement.
• Collaborate on conferences, seminars, and events to promote the practice area’s profile.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney in complex commercial litigation or a related practice area.
• Strong background in legal writing, strategic planning, and research.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.

Skills:

• Excellent writing and editing abilities, with a focus on clear, client-focused communication.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects effectively.
