Job Overview:
A law firm in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate Attorney with 6-8 years of mergers and acquisitions experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong mergers and acquisitions skills, including leading the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents, managing the deal process and client relationships, supervising junior associates, and handling day-to-day demands on a variety of mergers and acquisitions related matters. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a high degree of maturity and business sense, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships are essential. Previous experience in a large regional, national, or international law firm is preferred.

Duties:

  • Lead the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents for mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  • Manage the deal process and client relationships effectively.
  • Supervise junior associates and provide guidance on mergers and acquisitions matters.
  • Handle day-to-day demands related to mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  • Assist in business development efforts, including client pitches and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 6-8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions practice.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law and mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  • Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.

Skills:
