Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a detail-oriented and self-motivated attorney with experience in trusts and estates law to join its team in Buffalo, NY. This role is ideal for a professional with strong analytical and writing skills, comfortable with extensive client interaction, including office visits. The position primarily involves executing will contracts and advising clients on estate planning matters. Notably, this role does not require managing a caseload or meeting billable hour targets.

Duties:

• Counsel clients on trusts, estates, and asset protection strategies.

• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations related to estate planning.

• Draft and prepare legal documents, including wills, trusts, deeds, and estate contracts.

• Advise clients regarding their legal rights and obligations in estate matters.

• Engage in client meetings and visits to facilitate estate planning services.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience practicing trusts and estates law.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.

• Highly organized with strong time management skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Admission to the state bar.

Certifications:

• Active and valid Bar license in the state of New York.
