A prestigious law firm based in Panama City Beach, FL, is seeking a driven and experienced Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This role involves handling personal injury cases from intake through trial, including pre-trial preparations, client interactions, and courtroom advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in civil litigation, especially in personal injury cases, and be passionate about delivering exceptional legal services.

Duties:

• Manage personal injury cases from inception to trial
• Communicate effectively with clients and keep them informed throughout the process
• Conduct depositions and prepare discovery documents
• Lead mediations and settlement negotiations
• Develop and implement legal strategies for successful case outcomes
• Draft and respond to motions
• Take cases to trial and serve as 1st chair in jury trials
• Ensure compliance with all relevant procedural rules

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation
• Demonstrated success as 1st chair in jury trials
• Active and in good standing with the Florida State Bar
• Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence
• Experience with motion practice

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida State Bar (required)

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida
