A law firm in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Healthcare Transactional Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of transactional experience, particularly in healthcare private equity. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in building or continuing a practice focused on healthcare transactional work, with an emphasis on private equity transactions. This role will involve providing legal expertise in the healthcare industry and transactional matters and supporting clients in navigating complex healthcare-related deals.

Duties:

  • Handle a wide range of healthcare-related transactional matters, with a focus on private equity transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on healthcare compliance, regulatory issues, and transaction structuring.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence, risk assessment, and legal research on healthcare transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients and senior attorneys to develop transactional strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of transactional experience, with a preference for healthcare private equity experience.
  • Strong interest in building or continuing a practice centered around healthcare transactional work.
  • Prior experience in a sophisticated law firm environment is preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong legal writing skills.
  • Admission to practice in Virginia (VA) is required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Virginia State Bar.

  • Proficiency in healthcare transactional matters.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
