Job Overview
A law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join its team in Phoenix, Arizona. Duties

  • Manage an immigration caseload, including preparing and filing immigration petitions
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and legal advice
  • Oversee and coordinate work with paralegals and administrative support staff
  • Prepare legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and appeals
  • Handle client interviews and case evaluations
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations
  • Participate in litigation, if applicable, and represent clients in hearings or proceedings

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in immigration law
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar (required)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Prior litigation experience is a plus
