The role involves managing personal injury cases, communicating with clients, and negotiating settlements while collaborating with a dedicated team of paralegals and support staff.

Duties

• Communicate with clients to provide case updates, answer questions, and gather necessary information.
• Prepare and review negotiation packages to achieve optimal case outcomes.
• Manage personal injury cases through all stages of the claims process, including handling settlements and resolving subrogation claims, liens, and other third-party interests.
• Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and other support personnel to ensure efficient case management.
• Represent clients during court appearances and other legal proceedings as necessary.
• Develop new business and build strong client relationships.
• Travel occasionally for court appearances or client meetings as required.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and good standing with the NC State Bar.
• 1–5 years of experience handling personal injury cases, preferably on the plaintiff side.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
• Strong leadership skills to supervise and support paralegals and legal staff.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar.
