Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join their team in Camp Hill, PA. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills and will be responsible for handling insurance coverage matters from case inception through resolution. The role involves a variety of tasks including file review, legal analysis, court representation, and trial preparation. Duties:

• Conduct file reviews and legal analysis of insurance claims and causes of action.
• Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial legal documents, including briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
• Represent clients regularly in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests efficiently and accurately.
• Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses as needed for case preparation.
• Prepare for and attend trials, managing trial preparation and logistics.
• Manage an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours.
• Occasionally travel for client meetings, court appearances, or depositions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania; admission to other states is a plus.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in insurance coverage or a related field.
