This full-time position is designed for a motivated legal professional who is eager to provide exceptional counsel to clients navigating financial distress. The firm specializes in bankruptcy law, helping individuals regain control over their finances through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings. Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive legal guidance on bankruptcy-related matters, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support client cases and prepare legal strategies.
  • Represent clients in federal court hearings and attend 341 meetings of creditors.
  • Assist in negotiating settlements and advocating on behalf of clients in bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Engage in direct communication with clients to explain legal processes, answer questions, and provide updates.
  • Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and other necessary filings for bankruptcy cases.
  • Collaborate with a legal team to ensure efficient case management and delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar admission in the state of Texas.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize under deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:
