A law firm in Morristown, NJ, is seeking a highly qualified Construction Attorney to join its nationally recognized Construction and Surety Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law and be prepared to handle a wide range of legal matters in this practice area.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in construction-related legal matters, including contract claims, transactions, arbitration, and litigation in both state and Federal jurisdictions.
  • Provide legal counsel on construction project disputes, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide expert legal advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to achieve successful outcomes for clients.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in construction law to better serve clients
  • Skills:
  • In-depth understanding of construction law and legal principles.

Certifications:

  • Must be a licensed attorney with active bar admission in New York and/or New Jersey.

  • Bar admission in New York and/or New Jersey is required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
