The attorney will be responsible for managing multiple cases, handling regulatory and compliance matters, and serving as the primary contact for clients while coordinating with other associates and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and litigate cases related to managed care and health care.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing legal advice and updates on case developments.
  • Coordinate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle complex commercial litigation and arbitration, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
  • Offer strategic legal counsel on regulatory and compliance issues pertaining to managed care.
  • Represent clients in court, depositions, and arbitration hearings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on managed care and health care laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships through effective communication and strategic advice.
  • Stay updated on changes in managed care and health care laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing of the California State Bar.
  • 2-3 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.
  • Required experience in managed care or health care.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and handle regulatory or compliance matters.
  • Significant case management and/or client counseling experience preferred.
