Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, from initial consultation to resolution, ensuring a high level of care and attention throughout the legal process.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare motions and pleadings as part of case preparation.
• Manage discovery, depositions, and negotiations with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other parties involved.
• Attend mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, demonstrating strong trial advocacy skills.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering guidance and support as they navigate complex legal issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service and case outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying current on legal trends and innovations in personal injury law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing personal injury law.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Proven track record in handling personal injury cases, with substantial experience in both settlement negotiations and trial work.
• High level of proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and an ability to advocate assertively on behalf of clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Texas State Bar Certification is required.
• Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization is a plus.

Skills:

• Trial experience, with at least 10 personal injury cases tried to completion.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and legal research skills.
• Ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
• Skilled in storytelling and presenting complex legal arguments effectively.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
