Duties

• Handle insurance defense cases, including first-party property and bodily injury claims
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court appearances
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and litigation
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and manage assigned caseloads
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and guidance on case progress
• Assist in settlement negotiations and case resolutions
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely filing of documents

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in insurance defense or related legal practice
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage a caseload and work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active state bar membership (Florida Bar preferred)
