A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a talented Real Estate Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience related to a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate should have experience in drafting and revising commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements, along with a strong background in title and survey review and closing purchase and sale transactions. Admission to the State Bar of California is required.

 

Duties:

  • Draft and revise commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Conduct title and survey review for real estate transactions.
  • Assist with closing purchase and sale transactions.
  • Analyze and review real estate due diligence materials.
  • Provide legal advice and support on real estate matters to clients.
  • Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and support staff on real estate transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • 2-4 years of experience related to commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and handle significant individual responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated interest in the real estate industry, including participation in ULI, NAIOP, or CREFC.
  • AmLaw 200 law firm experience preferred.
  • High level of academic achievement.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California.

 

Skills:

  • Experience in drafting commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Strong background in title and survey review.
  • Ability to analyze and review real estate due diligence materials.
