Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney specializing in Finance with 4-6 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, particularly in commercial finance transactions, loan originations, and real estate financings.

Duties:

• Draft loan, security, intercreditor, and related documents
• Advise on covenant compliance
• Lead due diligence teams
• Manage specialists
• Draft legal documents
• Provide legal counsel on finance matters
• Conduct legal research
• Attend client meetings and negotiations

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar in Indiana
• 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance and/or working with financial institutions and borrowers in commercial finance transactions
• Strong understanding of finance and lending principles
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision
• Superior academics
