Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in legal research, case management, and client interaction. This role involves conducting trial preparations, managing discovery processes, and collaborating closely with the internal team to ensure effective case management and client support.

Duties:

  • Conduct trial and exhibit preparation, including comprehensive legal research.
  • Manage the discovery process and draft correspondence.
  • Review legal documents, prepare case timelines, and develop case analysis.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to manage cases and assist clients with legal matters.
  • Attend court appearances and represent clients effectively.
  • Manage client communications via phone and email.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York.
  • 7+ years of legal experience, with at least 3+ years of experience in family law.
  • Proven litigation experience, including trial, pre-trial, and motion practice.
  • Experience with written and oral depositions.
  • Proficiency with Macs, case management software (Clio preferred), and Google Workspace.
  • Has an existing book of business
