Senior Employment Class Action Attorney

Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its Employment Class Action department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney with a passion for workers' rights to lead and manage complex employment class action cases. The Senior Attorney will oversee a docket of cases, represent clients in high-stakes litigation, and provide mentorship to junior attorneys while working to achieve justice for workers who have been wronged by large corporations.

Location:

Duties:

• Develop and implement litigation strategies for employment class action matters in both state and federal courts.
• Represent clients in depositions, motion hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft persuasive legal research, motions, and briefs, showcasing strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to associate attorneys, overseeing their caseloads and professional development.
• Manage a docket of employment class action cases, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
• Engage in client communications, keeping clients informed and providing expert legal advice.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in strategic discussions with opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• At least 7 years of experience in employment class action law, with proven success in litigation.
• Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and make strategic decisions in complex legal matters.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar (Required).
