Job Overview

This position requires an attorney with 2-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, who can independently manage cases from filing through trial. Duties

• Manage personal injury cases from filing to trial.
• Lead and provide guidance to the litigation team.
• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Review documents drafted by staff and associates.
• Prepare for trial, including strategizing motions in limine and associated trial documents.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration).
• Serve as first or second chair in jury trials.
• Handle post-trial motions and provide legal opinions to clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• At least 3-5 trials as first chair.
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and handle a large caseload.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Law and motion experience.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar membership.
