Job Duties:

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, motions, briefs, and appeals.
  • Prepare cases and attend Master and Individual calendar hearings, USCIS interviews, and NY State Family Court proceedings.
  • Supervise the work of assigned paralegals.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with clients and courts.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Manage case files and maintain organized documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client representation.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in the state of New York.
  • 1-2 years of experience in immigration law.
  • Excellent organizational, research, and writing skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with USCIS interviews and Family Court proceedings is preferred.
