Job Overview: A law firm specializing in energy transition finance is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team in Baltimore, MD. The role offers an opportunity to work on internationally recognized matters, including novel financing deals in the energy transition space.

Job Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.
  • Experience handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies, with proven experience in tax equity and other renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.
  • Admitted to practice in Maryland.
