The successful candidate will be responsible for legal research, drafting, and litigation support in bankruptcy cases. Duties

  • Perform legal research and draft legal memoranda on bankruptcy and litigation issues.
  • Draft routine bankruptcy motions, notices, and other related documents.
  • Attend court hearings and represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Coordinate and manage electronic court filings.
  • Research and access case dockets and manage case calendars.
  • Track filing deadlines and ensure timely submissions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in bankruptcy law.
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and litigation skills.
  • Ability to manage electronic court filings and stay organized with case management tasks.
  • Self-motivated, personable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Education

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
