A law firm in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a seasoned Insurance and Reinsurance Career Associate Attorney with a robust background in insurance coverage and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of experience in handling complex insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. The role demands excellent academic credentials and proven expertise in legal research and writing.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice on insurance coverage matters, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Review, analyze, and interpret insurance policies to determine coverage and resolve disputes.
• Draft and prepare comprehensive legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research and produce detailed legal memoranda to support case strategies.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, drafting and arguing motions, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to effectively handle cases and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Keep abreast of developments in insurance law, including regulatory changes and relevant case law.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.

Education:
