Duties

  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, agency responses, memos, and case status updates.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and administrative hearings.
  • Assist with workplace investigations.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to paralegals, law clerks, and legal assistants.
  • Support business development, marketing, and other administrative activities.
  • Track and input billable time daily.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
  • Minimum of two years of civil litigation experience, preferably with exposure to employment law and federal courts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with team members and clients.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality work.
  • Interest in business development and networking to enhance the firm’s reputation.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Georgia Bar.
