Duties

• Represent clients in various family law matters, including custody, visitation, support, protective orders, move-away cases, divorce, domestic violence, and paternity.
• Conduct comprehensive research on family law issues to build strong cases.
• Draft, review, and analyze legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate complex legal issues with clarity and empathy to clients at all levels.
• Manage and track billable hours effectively.
• Apply innovative problem-solving and critical thinking to case strategy and client needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law, with demonstrated litigation skills.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
• Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) designation or eligibility is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar License.
• A certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) is preferred but not required.
