Job Overview: A law firm in Brunswick, GA, is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Associate Attorney to assist senior attorneys in providing legal counsel to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling responses to time-limited conditional demands and experience with high-pressure legal matters. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior attorneys in providing legal counsel to existing clients.
  • Conduct legal research and draft documents, pleadings, and correspondence, including contracts, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Communicate with clients and experts to gather necessary information and provide updates.
  • Draft, respond to discovery, and review documents for accuracy and relevance.
  • Prepare for trials and depositions, including organizing evidence and creating trial strategies.
  • Represent clients in court and depositions as needed.
  • Respond to time-limited conditional demands efficiently and accurately.
  • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on potential solutions, and negotiate on their behalf.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient handling of legal matters.
  • Document demand response files thoroughly to maintain up-to-date information for other team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar.
  • Prior experience handling responses to time-limited conditional demands and extra-contractual and bad faith matters preferred.
  • Proven experience managing a high volume of time-sensitive legal matters with short deadlines.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Georgia Bar Admission.
