Duties:

  • Provide legal advice regarding intellectual property matters, including infringement and licensing issues.
  • Assist in responding to Office Actions and manage communications with the USPTO.

  • Engage in design engineering tasks as needed, particularly with chip technology.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in IP law and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-6 years of legal experience in patent prosecution or related fields.
  • Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Proven experience in drafting patent applications and understanding prosecution processes.
  • Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field is essential.
  • Experience with networking technologies and software development is preferred.
  • Knowledge of 3G/4G/5G wireless networks is advantageous.

Education:

  • Relevant technical degree in electrical engineering or computer science.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the USPTO is required.
