A law firm seeks an experienced Attorney to represent a diverse clientele, including musicians, artists, businesses, and government entities, in civil litigation concerning intellectual property and corporate disputes. The attorney will collaborate with senior partners, administrative staff, and clients to manage a varied caseload and deliver high-quality legal services. Duties

• Represent clients in court, arguing motions, and participating in legal proceedings.
• Supervise paralegals, administrative assistants, and law clerks in the management of time records, client billing, and case-related tasks.
• Oversee administrative processes, ensuring smooth coordination for client meetings and project completions.
• Develop and implement case strategies, providing clients with tailored solutions based on careful analysis.
• Counsel clients on legal options, offering advice and determining the most effective course of action to achieve successful outcomes.
• Communicate with clients regularly, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction with case progress.
• Collaborate with senior partners and the firm’s team to ensure seamless operations and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Proven experience in civil litigation, particularly in intellectual property and corporate disputes.
• Strong ability to develop legal strategies and counsel clients effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to handle a diverse caseload.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing leadership to junior staff.
• Comfortable using modern technology for case management, research, and client communication.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in California (required).
