A law firm in Richmond, VA, is seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation, with a preference for those who have 1-3 years of prior insurance defense experience. The role requires a motivated attorney who is licensed to practice in Virginia and possesses a Juris Doctorate or better. Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation matters, including analyzing insurance policies and coverage issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation, providing effective legal representation and advocacy.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and implement litigation strategies.
• Manage and oversee case files, including coordinating discovery, preparing witnesses, and handling trial preparation.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates, answer questions, and offer strategic legal advice.
• Stay informed on changes in insurance laws and regulations, and advise clients on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.
• Contribute to the firm's business development efforts through client engagement and participation in marketing activities.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation; 1-3 years of prior insurance defense experience is preferred.
• Bar Admission: Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia and in good standing.
• Education: Juris Doctorate (JD) or better from an accredited law school.
