Duties

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence cases.
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Manage case files and assist with trial preparation from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and tactics.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date case files.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar (NJ Bar required, NY or PA Bar admissions are a plus).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Experience in medical malpractice and nursing home cases is preferred.
  • Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Bi-lingual candidates, particularly Spanish-speaking, are highly preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar (additional admissions to NY or PA are a plus).
