Associate Attorney Litigation

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Litigation group in Minneapolis, MN. Key Duties

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters, ensuring top-tier legal advocacy.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and team members.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare insightful memoranda.
• Participate in discovery processes, including depositions, document production, and interrogatories.
• Engage with clients to provide updates, legal counsel, and strategic recommendations.
• Handle courtroom proceedings, including pre-trial motions, hearings, and trials.

Position Requirements

• At least 4 years of substantive experience in commercial litigation, preferably with a large law firm.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to also work independently when required.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and managing a high-volume caseload effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active licensure to practice law in the state of Minnesota and in good standing.
