Duties:

• Advise clients on legal matters related to Trusts and Estates, including asset protection, estate planning, and legal rights and obligations.
• Provide counsel regarding the advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, and help clients navigate the complexities of legal claims.
• Prepare, draft, and review key legal documents such as wills, trusts, estate documents, deeds, and contracts.
• Interpret and apply laws, rulings, and regulations related to estate planning and asset management.
• Communicate directly with clients, offering sound legal advice and maintaining ongoing client relationships.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Bar license.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Trusts and Estates law.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Proven expertise in drafting legal documents related to estate planning and trust administration.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the NY State Bar is required.
