The role involves managing complex litigation tasks, assisting in trial preparations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of client matters. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent writing abilities, and a proven track record of managing litigation projects and team dynamics.

Duties:

• Lead trial teams and manage trial calendars.
• Assist in staffing associates and assigning responsibilities within the litigation group.
• Prepare client communications, including pitches, newsletters, and presentations.
• Oversee long-term projects to ensure alignment with the team’s strategic goals.
• Collaborate closely with practice lawyers and partners to enhance team effectiveness.
• Work with the practice manager and group leaders to identify staffing needs.
• Collaborate with the innovation team to assign the right resources to client tasks.
• Ensure smooth integration of new lawyers into the group.
• Provide strategic insights and lead efforts on industry development thought leadership.

Requirements:

• Over 7 years of litigation experience.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional writing abilities.
• Ability to manage and coordinate complex litigation projects.
• Extensive experience drafting briefs, motions, and discovery documents.
• Experience in e-discovery and preparing witnesses for depositions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with trial preparation and document management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a matrixed environment and under pressure.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in MA.
